17th DOD Electromagnetic Windows Symposium
Date: September 22, 2020
Unfortunately, due to the pandemic and travel restrictions on government and industry, the 17th Electromagnetic Windows Symposium will no longer take place in-person on September 22-23, 2020 at the University of Delaware. Since the Symposium program was already organized with over forty invited papers, the steering committee has elected to compile the presentations/papers and publish an ITAR restricted proceedings for 2020 such that the community can still stay current with recent technical advancements. The next opportunity to conduct the EM Windows Symposium in person will be in 2022.
In addition, the Short Course on IR Window and Dome Materials and Radome Technology scheduled for September 21, 2020 has been cancelled by the instructors.
USACA will be issuing full refunds for the Symposium and Short Course registrations by July 17.
To highlight the release of the proceedings, we are planning to host a “virtual” panel session on September 22 on EM windows/domes for hypersonics in a Distribution A setting. This is the panel that was planned for the Symposium plenary session. The proceedings CD will be available for order by those with the requisite credentials following the virtual panel event.
Please continue to monitor the Symposium website and be on the lookout for electronic blasts over the summer for details on the virtual panel session and how to order the proceedings.
Please contact USACA with any questions - [email protected]
