CFD Research Corporation specializes in engineering simulations, advanced prototypes, and innovative designs for aerospace, defense, life sciences, materials, energy, and other industries. Using our software and experimental capabilities, we develop new hardware concepts, innovative designs, and superior solutions for our customers with lower risk, reduced costs, and less time.

CFD Research has grown steadily and profitably every year since its inception in 1987. We are a two-time winner of the prestigious Tibbetts Award, a two-time winner of the Army National Achievement Award for excellence in the SBIR program, several NASA awards, and a winner of the Nunn-Perry Award. We maintain an excellent (≥ 80%) DoD Commercialization Achievement Index (CAI) score, as evidenced with our spin-out technologies, products, and licensed patents.

Presently, CFD Research has a highly qualified staff (70% advanced degrees, 35% PhDs) of over 320 employees (40% with security clearances), and active collaborations with numerous research organizations.

CFD Research holds ISO9001:2015/AS9100D, and CMMI-SVC/2 certifications and remains committed to growth, by continuing to work closely with its customers in their quests of developing better products and safer systems.
