Dan Wilson is Director of Commercialization for SINTX Technologies, Inc, specializing in business development for new ceramic processes and materials. In this capacity, he is responsible for identification of potential programs and customers, enabling technical exchanges, selling the product, and then coordinating testing and scale-up. Some of his past roles include Manufacturing Manager for Saint-Gobain where he led the casting, furnacing, and CVD operations for the CRYSTAR division; General Sales manager for CoorsTek where he led the commercial efforts for carbide-based armor products at their Arkansas facility; and General Sales Manager for M Cubed, where he was responsible for sales of their LCD equipment and armor ceramic products. He has also spent time with two carbide-based startups, Cerbide, Inc., and Hardide Coatings. In both cases, he introduced novel tungsten carbide-based materials into new applications and markets, including oil & gas, pumps, valves, and other industrial markets. Dan received a B.S. and an M.S. in Ceramic Engineering from the Missouri University of Science and Technology.
